All about the Trekking to Cerro Bellavista.

A challenging trekking for those who take pleasure in steep slopes for high ascent to reach one-of-a-kind, magnificent panoramic views.

We pick up passengers at their lodging and drive them to “El Tambo”, the starting point of our ascent at 870 meters above sea level. Our trekking features 8 kilometers approximately, crowned by an extraordinary view of the mountain range and lake system. The trail goes through the forest composed by coihues, multicolored flowers, Colihue cane and cypress trees. Along the way we’ll stop at various viewpoints. Bird watching is a delightful part of the ascent; woodpeckers, condors and black head vultures among others can be seen.

An energizing lunch will be served on the ridge to the Summit at 1,770 meters above sea level featuring a fantastic 360 panoramic view of the surrounding mountains and valleys of Bariloche. Changes of biomes will be clearly seen from the West Patagonian rain forest to the Eastern steppe. After some relaxation and in taking of magnificent views, we start our descent along the same trail to the vehicle and head to your lodging for a well-deserved rest.
