Bike Tour in the Valley of Limay River

This journey runs through the valley of the Limay River, crossing the Arroyo La Fragua (La Fragua Creek) to reach the small and picturesque Villa Llanquín. The steppe offers us the magic of its landscapes and the unmistakable sensation of pedaling in Patagonia.

All about the Bike Tour in the Valley of Limay River.

The activity begins when the vehicle pick up the passengers in their accommodation and drives them to the bridge at the mouth of the Limay River, on National Route 40, where they will be given the equipment to start the journey.

Our journey begins on a local road that borders the river, allowing us to enjoy the landscape. The road winds, sometimes over the river, other times between different rock formations, always in a well-defined path. This 26.5 km journey allows us to travel through the valley, sometimes open, sometimes closed with a clearly steppe connotation, but with the river always present.

We will stop for a snack and then continue pedaling to Villa Llanquín where we will have lunch. Then, cyclists will be able to tour the Villa on foot before crossing the footbridge observing the famous maroma raft to return in the support vehicle to the accommodation in San Carlos de Bariloche.
