Navigation along Brazo Tristeza | Tristeza Branch of Nahuel Huapi Lake. After disembarking, hike and visit Arroyo Frey Cascade, an amazing natural beauty.
From your lodging we drive you to the port from where we navigate into the pristine and wild Tristeza Lake Branch, a deep glacial fiord in the Southwest area of Nahuel Huapi Lake. The lake progressively becomes less wavy as it is protected by the steep surrounding mountains. Further into the lake branch, we discover numerous cascades as the forest gradually becomes Valdivian rain forest.
After navigating Tristeza Branch of the lake, we disembark and start a soft trek along a rugged trail to reach the astonishing and elegant Arroyo Frey cascade. This is an idyllic spot with magnificent natural surroundings. Numerous species of birds can be seen throughout the excursion. After a long moment of contemplation, we return along the same trail to savor an energetic lunch by the lake shore.
Finally, we return to the port where we take the transfer and head back to your lodging.
