    1. Day 1 Trekking to Ilon Lagoon

We will start our trekking path through a coihues* forest. Once we cross the Alerce river, our path will start to gain altitude during a few hours while we discover beautiful sceneries. Also we will be going through a demanding “snail” trail gaining even more altitude. While we are walking we will get into an ancient forest, surrender by mallines*, that will lead us to Ilón lagoon. At sunset, the lagoon area will amaze us with the view of Tronador Hill and its glaciers. After we set up to stay the night, we will relax enjoying the majesty of the forest and the mountains around us. Before dinner time we will have a brief conversation about the plans for the next day.

    2. Day 2 Paso de las Nubes (Passage of the clouds) Trekking

After breakfast, we will pack our stuff and take off with the guides to Paso de la Marca, an ancient mountain path that will demand us more physical effort but worth it because we will have the best scenery views. Our trail allows us to contemplate Frey Lake from a fantastic view, generally reserved for the condors, and then we will continue our journey until reaching a path at 1600msnm level sea. Then we will start to go down to a fresh creek where we will have lunch. Continuing going up again until we arrive at “the pampas” that will lead us, at sunset, to Paso de las Nubes. We will have to descend, and this trail has steep parts that will require concentration, we will take the necessary time to cross the terrain without frights. We will cross green “pampas and mallines” before reaching the Rocca Refuge which is located on the path. With a privileged view, we will make the most of its terrace to stretch our muscles and take a rest after a beautiful journey through the mountains. In the evening, we have dinner at the refuge and share stories with other visitors and mountaineers.

    3. Day 3 Trekking to Frías Lake - Navigation back to Bariloche

We will have an early breakfast in order to have the best, and incredible, view of the Alerce Glacier at sunrise. Then we will leave the Rocca refuge and go around the Frias Valley following its water path until we arrive at its homonymous lake. We will go through a forest trail during 6hs surrounding by ancient alerces* and other typical flora from Valdivian Jungle. We will make a stop at Frías Viewpoint to observe the walls and waterfalls that give birth to the Frias creek. We will continue going deep in the forest and follow the channel of the creek and in the afternoon we will arrive at the Frías Lake, its turquoise water comes from the glacier and it creates a particular contrast view. We will take the boat that crosses the lake to arrive at Puerto Blest and from here we will start our comeback to Bariloche sailing the Nahuel Huapi Lake. Once we arrive, we will take our guests back to their accommodation place.
